Director:
Ann Bowen
Ms. Bowen was a director at the original Second City in Chicago and later formed the Pitschel Players, a group of political and social satirists, guiding them through her ten-year run in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Her West Coast credits include the premiere of Philip Kan Gotanda's Yohen with Danny Glover at the East West Players, The Biko Inquest at the Mark Taper Forum, Statements Under Arrest at the Los Angeles Actors Theatre, The Island with Danny Glover and Carl Lumbly at the Matrix Theatre (winner of the Dramalogue Best Director Award), Don Juan at the Odyssey Theatre, Absaloms Song at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, and A Lesson From Aloes at Berkley Repertory. In New York, Ms. Bowen has directed the works of Roger Bowen, Athol Fugard, David Mamet, Joe Orton, Harold Pinter, John Patrick Shanley, George Bernard Shaw, and Bertolt Brecht. Ann is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.

Don Nigro
Mr. Nigro has written over 200 plays, 102 of which are published by Samuel French in 32 volumes. His work has been produced in all 50 states, in London, Oxford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Munich, Freiburg, Vienna, Budapest, Bombay, Calcutta, Madras, Hong Kong and Mexico City and in Canada, Switzerland, Iceland, Australia, Japan, South Africa, the Virgin Islands and Bermuda. He has won grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (for Fisher King). And the Mary Robert Rinehart Foundation (for Terre Haute), and the Ohio Arts Council, has twice been a finalist for the National Repertory Theatre Foundation's National Play Award (for Anima Mundi and The Dark Sonnets of the Lady), and twice been James Thurber Writer in Residence at Thurber House in Columbus. His work has been translated into Italian, German, Russian, Spanish, and Polish. Mary Margaret also appears in the related Pendragon plays ANIMA MUNDI, LAESTRYGONIANS and GOD REST YE MERRY GENTLEMEN, and her children are central in DREAMS OF A SINISTER CASTLE.Some of his other plays include LUCIA MAD, THE DARK SONNETS OF THE LADY, MANDELSTAM, AN ANGLER IN THE LAKE OF DARKNESS, QUINT AND MISS JESSEL AT BLY, LOVES LABOURS WONNE, and THE CIRCUS ANIMALS' DESERTION.

Russ Marisak
Mr. Marisak has been working hard in theatre since 1988. He started out as an actor,but soon realized he would have to earn some money if he wanted to continue doing shows, so he eventually moved off stage and pursued a career in Stage Management. His most recent productions are: “FRANKIE” at Irish Arts Center, “THE LAST TEMPTATION OF TONY” at Dillons, “ON EDGE” at Here Arts Center ,“SPLIT ENDS” at The Triad Theatre, and “DEFENSES OF PRAGUE” at La Mama. He considers it an honor and a pleasure to work with all the creative, talented and hard - working people at Specter Theatre Co.

Mr. Sakowski's recent designs include: "Hazard County" for the Wellfleet Harbor Actor's Theatre, "Hamlet/Machine" for The Blue Rose Theatre Company, "Women of Lockerbie" for Otterbein College Theatre, "EATFest 2005" for The Emerging Artist's Theatre, "Bye, Mom!" at Primary Stages, "Vital Signs 9" for The Vital Theatre Company, "Extraordinary" for Vital Children's Theatre, "Authority to Inspire" at The Shetler Theatre. Asst. Lighting Designer: "Sin (A Cardinal Deposed)" for The New Group (Obie: Outstanding Production, Drama Desk Nomination: Outstanding Play), "The Bald Soprano and The Lesson" for The Atlantic Theatre, "The Hasty Heart", "Pyretown", "Outward Bound"(Drama Desk Nomination: Outstanding Revival of a play) and "The Breadwinner" for Keen Company. Steve is a graduate of Otterbein College, B.F.A. Theatre Design and Technology.

Cheryl McCarron
Ms.McCarron's recent costume designs include: All For Love, Artist Descending a Staircase and Giant & Variation (Boomerang Theatre), Isabelle and the Pretty Ugly Spell (New York Musical Theatre Festival), and Dogmusic (Amas). Other Theatres she has designed for include: The American Globe Theatre, Dorset Theatre, Penguin Repertory, the Workshop Theatre, and the Foolish Theatre. She manages the shop at Hofstra University and earned her MFA from Brandeis University.
